Some people claimed that BN lost (or more correctly, failed to win the governorship of 5 states) because she ignored the new media such as SMS and blogs. Consequently, some politicians start blogging immediately post election.
Datuk Seri Dr. Chua Soi Lek is one of them. Subscribed.

Excepts from newspaper report featuring Malaysia Bookseller Association president Cheah Thye Wee.
“We will be having a meeting next week with our 100-odd members nationwide to decide what needs to be done next.
“The worst case scenario would be to return the books back to the publisher,” said the frustrated Cheah.
He strongly supported the decision of the four major bookstore chains not to sell the book.
“We will stand by them,” he added.
Excepts from a separate report coming through at the same day.
The four major bookstore chains that refused to sell Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows have changed their minds.
MPH, Times, Popular and Harris would start selling the book Tuesday onwards at the recommended retail price of RM109.90, they said in a joint statement Monday night.
However, as a goodwill gesture to their customers, they would offer a special discount of 25% for their members, while walk-in customers can get a 20% discount if they make any other purchase.
In my opinion, bookstore chains were hoping for an intervention from the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs. When the minister openly support the price war, claiming that books sold at affordable price encourage the public to read, bookstore chains had their last hope burned down to dust.
At the end, they are left with only two alternatives. Stop the protest, or return the book to publisher (earn nothing from what might have been an all time bestseller). You know the outcome of this saga already don't you? Bookshop relent, will sell latest and the last Potter book.
Soon, these bookstore chains will be back in the meeting room, working 24/7 to come up with a better strategy to fight future throat cutting price war. The thing is we don't know if there will be next Potter magic.
Some people lived in our heart even though they have long gone.
Candle in the Wind ~ Elton John
Goodbye England's rose
May you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart
You called out to our country
And you whispered to those in pain
Now you belong to heaven
And the stars spell out your name
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall you
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before
Your legend never will
Loveliness we've lost
These empty days without your smile
This torch we'll always carry
For our nation's golden child
And even though we try
The truth brings us to tears
All our words cannot express
The joy you brought us through the years
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall you
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before
Your legend never will
Goodbye England's rose
May you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart
Goodbye England's rose
From a country lost without your soul
Who'll miss the wings of your compassion
More than you'll ever know
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And you footsteps will always fall you
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before
Your legend never will
Bocor Lagi
by Keris Silau - Malaysia Today
Bocor teruk kata Samy
Wiring lama kata Ramli
Bangunan tua kata Nazri
Najib said it’s PWD
Semua ada alasan sendiri
But where you all spent the money?
RM90 juta untuk cantikkan lobby
So that it looks luxury
Nice d¨¦cor and nice settee
But now you kena letak baldi
Bocor teruk when it rains heavily
MP yang busuk pun boleh mandi
The floor is wet and slippery
The luxury lobby now looks untidy
Inilah dia third class mentality
Luar cantik tapi dalam very shoddy
Structure work should get priority
And now whose responsibility
JKR or Parliament Committee
While you all gaduh sama sendiri
Rakyat want an answer immediately
Otherwise kita tak bagi you undi
Sebab you spent money unnecessarily
You know it is taxpayers’ money
So please spend the money wisely.

Via MocoNews,
Malaysian telco Maxis has teamed up with Filipino telco Globe Telecom to give people an easy way to wire money between the two operators, with a new service dubbed M-money.While the government is trying to decrease the reliance on household maids, business giant like those of Maxis do the opposite thing. The more Filipino working in Malaysia, the better! So, whats next? Indonesia, Bangladesh, China......
Under the system, Maxis customers can wire up to 500 ringgit. It costs five ringgit ($1.47) for the transaction, less than half what the bank charges.
Now that the FDA's own preliminary evaluation of the diabetes pill Avandia confirms the heart risks reported in a study earlier this week, should 6 million people worldwide who have taken the drug and probably still on Avandia stop their medication?
Ok, we know that FDA received conflicting data and therefore still waiting for results from an ongoing trial from GSK. Fair enough. But the interesting bit is, consumers like us are unlikely to get any light on the risk associated with Avandia for two more years.
Its like a gamble for people with type II diabetes. To continue taking hoping that 2 years from now the final result shows a non significant association. Under the same situation, I would make a switch.
He is a dropout, but like Bill Gates, he was a student of an Ivy League school. Yes, Harvard.
But don't get it wrong, both Gates and Mark Zuckerberg didn't quit college until it became clear that the possibilities for their companies were bright. Pre World Wide Web, we have Microsoft. From web 2.0 onwards, we have FaceBook.
Read more about Mark, FaceBook and their plan to hook up the world at Fortune. No offence, but why are so many of our friends still using Friendster? Can I see a switch coming soon?
At the moment, I couldn't imagine myself taking one of the many birth-control pills available on the market. Put it this way, I would definitely go for a barrier method should become pregnant is a concern. Why go for the pills that tend to cause various problems when there is an easy way out? It remains one of the few questions I have in mind regarding relationships.
Some background information about Lybrel, made available by Associated Press.
Today's approval by the FDA of the drug Lybrel heralds the next generation of birth control pills. When taken daily, the pill can halt women’s menstrual periods indefinitely and prevent pregnancies. The fact that Lybrel went through FDA's approval even with such a high dropout rate during clinical trials is pretty interesting.
The pill isn’t for everyone, an FDA official said. About half the women enrolled in studies of Lybrel dropped out. Many did so because of the irregular and unscheduled bleeding and spotting that can replace scheduled menstruation.
At San Siro, a stadium shared between the two Italian football giants, AC Milan often came up on top over Inter. And I hate that. I have always wanted Inter to win. Not entirely sure why that is the case, certainly not because Inter was once Ronaldo and Vierri's hub.
Things are a little bit different at Anfield. Despite being owned by Liverpool FC, the stadium is more like a home to millions of fans all over the globe. There is no need for you to be physically present in order to experience the euphoria demonstrated by the Kops. Especially when Chelsea is at the opposite side of the field.
A match between Manchester United and Liverpool used to be a season's highlight. But I bet you would agree with me that this is no longer the case. These days, we would rather see Rafe Benitez and Jose Mourinho on the field than Fergie.
Congratulations Liverpool, for making it to the Champion's League Final. See ya, at Athens!
For the victims at Virginia Tech who have their lives cut short, our deepest condolences.
Lets hope that your sacrifice wouldn't went unnoticed.
