Malaysian telco Maxis has teamed up with Filipino telco Globe Telecom to give people an easy way to wire money between the two operators, with a new service dubbed M-money.

Under the system, Maxis customers can wire up to 500 ringgit. It costs five ringgit ($1.47) for the transaction, less than half what the bank charges.

While the government is trying to decrease the reliance on household maids, business giant like those of Maxis do the opposite thing. The more Filipino working in Malaysia, the better! So, whats next? Indonesia, Bangladesh, China......
